This photograph shows the cable stayed modern Erasmus Bridge (Erasmusbrug in Dutch), a prominent feature of the Rotterdam city skyline, with the equally modern De Rotterdam Vertical City skyscrapers shown in the background. The original photograph was taken in colour, then converted to monochrome in post processing.
