The city of Rotterdam is located in Holland, The Netherlands, and is a european city well know for its examples of modern architecture. This photograph shows the cable stayed modern Erasmus Bridge (Erasmusbrug in Dutch), a prominent feature of the Rotterdam city skyline, with the equally modern De Rotterdam Vertical City skyscrapers shown in the background. The original photograph was taken in colour, then converted to monochrome in post processing.

He became interested in photography during his teenage years after purchasing a Zenith fully manual SLR camera in the 1970s, primarily doing black and white work, developing his own films and producing prints in a makeshift darkroom in his parents bathroom!
